We had dinner there yesterday before a show. The food was amazing, the service was amazing, we could not have been happier with our choice. We ordered curry goat, butter chicken, lamb tikka masala, cheese annd garlic naan, and a few of their appetizers. Every dish was so tasty and fresh. Honestly one of the best (if not the best) Indian restaurants in the city. Staff was also very friendly and attentive. Our waiter even brought us a surprise treat on the house at the end. Really made the start to our evening very special. Definitely adding Bombay Grill House to our dinner rotation when in the city.
This is a quiet hole in the wall authentic Indian restaurant, and it truly has the best flavors in NY. Raju, our server also ended up being our chef for the sabzi and the dahi puri. Both tasted so good and he greeted us with well and brought everything promptly. Dahi puri reminds me of Mumbai Street side Dahi puri, so tasty and flavorful. We got the onion kulcha and the kadhai vegetables and the paneer sooley. Even the spicy guava mojito was so good. Highly recommend coming here. Good quality, authentic Indian food!
Excellent taste. Getting your money's worth is rare these days, like 1 in 10 rare. Biggest win for me was no acid reflux burps. Pics can say the rest
Very nice service. Waiter and waitress were sweet and friendly. But the food isn’t well flavored or balanced. The cook apparently isn’t using salt. The food is bland. The lamb kabob was surprisingly flavorless. The Main dishes also lacked depth, balance and flavor. I’m providing this as constructive criticism. Maybe the owner needs to taste the food coming out to give the cooks input and re-teach them.
I absolutely loved my experience at Bombay grill house ! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the aroma of spices instantly made me hungry. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always checking in to make sure everything was perfect. Every dish was bursting with authentic flavor the butter chicken was rich and creamy, the naan was soft and fresh. You can really taste the love and care that goes into every plate. And it’s even better a second time for leftovers!!
