Great pastry and great ambiance right at the heart of Montpelier! Great for a work from cafe day, a date, meeting with friends, or just enjoying pastry.

This is the best backery by far I have been to in the US. Must try! Everything we tried was amazing, buttery, flacky.

We have been on a never ending quest to find well made kouign aman here in the States. We’ve had some that is very good. But we have yet to find anything equal to what we experienced in Brittany…until now. This amazing delicacy is not well known and even less frequently well made. The Bohemian Bakery gets it right! Our search is over! The dough is delicate with a scrumptuously sweet center and an expertly rendered crunch on the outside. The atmosphere is, well..bohemian. They have a great selection of delicious pastries, amazing coffee and an over the top staff. Their croissants are to die for. We were amazed that the prices are surprisingly moderate. The location is right in Main Street with easy parking nearby. Now, our next qeust will be to convince them to put one in Virginia!

Impressed with this spot while out exploring VT! Food: A nice display of various bakery items to choose from at the front ordering counter. I thoroughly enjoyed a delicious chocolate swirl pastry and an americano that was also amazing. I was highly impressed with the low prices, and should have ordered more pastry items to go! Atmosphere: Definitely a popular spot with all the customers coming and going. Great window seating to watch the street and sidewalk traffic. Table seating is also available. The walls have a lot of framed quotes about desserts and pastries that are fun to read. Service: Great, smiling service! Everyone was super friendly and kind.

This is a busy place and pastries sold out quickly. I would own a shop like this but not a place to hang for a while. The window seats are nice though to people watch. The price is reasonable actually for the town and locals running into local is very common. I tried my croissant and it’s not very crispy as I wanted. I would want it freakier. Coffee is very good though. If you want an afternoon pick me up, definitely go for one. Ambiance isn’t my vibe but for a quick stop yes. It’s a good place for parents with their ikea like decorating. Chairs and table are basic. Service is very friendly.
