Bobboi Natural Gelato

Tried Bobboi Gelato in La Jolla and had a bit of a mixed experience at first. I sampled the charcoal vanilla and the dragon lemon, but honestly didn’t love either of them, the flavors just didn’t work for me. The charcoal vanilla was a bit powdery, and the dragon lemon was too tangy for my taste. Then I went with panettone and dark chocolate, and that combo was amazing. The panettone had such a rich, festive flavor with bits of cake, and the dark chocolate was deep, smooth, and not overly sweet. Together they balanced each other really well. Definitely a must-try combo.

It’s a beautiful little shop very close to coast. Ordered mocha and dragon lemon flavor. The mocha gelato has soft and tender texture, and they include small chocolate chips inside. Dragon lemon is plant based and has a thin and crisp fruit flavor. The flavors are good, but not very impressive :) There’re only a few outdoor seatings.

They’ve got a bunch of plant based flavors which is great. Generally found the ice cream / gelato just ‘ok.’ Flavors sound really cool but the taste is just ok Got the pistachio and stracitella and it wasnt as good as I thought. But it was decent. Solid spot.. 4/5 stars but not winning any awards

Appreciated the samples, the server was very helpful and informative, everyone loved their gelato. I got the bacio- dark chocolate hazelnut. They had dairy free options too: -coconut coffee -dragon lemon -dark chocolate sorbet -pistachio California -cranberry orange -pomegranate

Every time I passed by, there was always a long line. Today I finally got the chance to try it! I chose the Dragon Lemon and Cranberry Orange flavors—both were smooth, rich in flavor, and didn’t feel heavy at all. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, always smiling. I’ll definitely come back to try other flavors next time!
