The inner decoration is modern but also has many Chinese elements. Clean quite place with soft Chinese music. Food is awesome! Very spicy but spicy in a good way. The sliced aged pork stir fried mushroom is great. Very authentic and good seasoning. The price might be a bit high but the quality is absolutely amazing.
Tried Blue Peak Villa’s new menu and really enjoyed it 🤩 The Sichuan dishes delivered great spice—the Spicy Frog in Golden Soup and Pepper Fish were standouts, and didn’t know it was similar look lol 😂 but taste so good. The Golden Egg in the Cast Iron Pot felt like a show and tasted comforting. Beef Fried Rice was solid, perfect to pair with the fish and frogs. For drinks we got rose lemonade and it was refreshing, and the Brown Sugar Mochi ended the meal nicely💗Would recommend for spicy food lovers.
I've been thinking about Blue Peak Villa ever since my last visit. For this Chinese New Year, I chose Blue Peak Villa—they have all kinds of dishes from Yunnan, Guizhou, and Sichuan. Every dish is cooked fresh to order. The lively sizzle and wok heat truly capture the vibrant spirit of the New Year🧨
I had a great experience at Blue Peak Villa in Manhattan’s East Village. The Jumping Fish was incredibly tender and flavorful, with just the right balance of heat and numbing spice. The Mao Xue Wang was packed with ingredients and had a rich, authentic Sichuan broth, while the Pig Trotter Soup was comforting and perfectly cooked. We also loved the dry pot cauliflower and the crab roe shrimp tofu, which added a nice, delicate contrast to the spicy dishes.
One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in NYC! The food tastes super authentic — the tofu beef with green peppers was so soft and flavorful. The place feels clean and chill, perfect for grabbing dinner after class or hanging out with friends. Totally a hidden gem in East Village!
