2/15/25 Coffee was decent-had the peanut butter banana coffee. A friend and I bought two sandwiches, the steak and cheese breakfast sandwiches and the Cupid Special (a Valentine’s Day special). I paid 20 dollars for two microwaved sandwiches. The steak and cheese was cold in the middle and tasted inedible-we had three bites and threw it out. I am writing this review mainly because the Cupids special was also bad-(edit: I threw up the sandwich 20 minutes after I ate it). Additionally the workers were rude, didn’t acknowledge us until about 5 minutes after we entered the store. I will not be coming back.
Had a sandwich from Blue Canoe today, and I was honestly a bit underwhelmed. I order the Abbot Hall which comes with cranberry mayo and turkey. I was hoping it was in-house roasted and sliced turkey (it did not appear to be), and the cranberry mayo didn’t really taste of much. I would have loved to have tasted the tartness of cranberry. It was a fine sandwich but nothing extraordinary. I will be back to try coffee and a breakfast Sammy in the future.
First time today , great employee, atmosphere, cozy Great turkey sandwich with mayo, lettuce, pickled, on multi grain bread,
My two favorite foods sound boring to some, but I can't help it -- I'm a savory food kind of person. I love nachos and I love BLTs, and it's amazing how many places have managed to not do these two things well. I have never been able to find a place that can make a good BLT, until now! I needed a quick lunch today and went here on a whim because it was close by. I saw they were closing soon, but there were people inside so I headed in. Sometimes small, local coffee shops can feel drafty or unkempt or just lifeless. As soon as I walked in, I felt like I'd want to sit there for hours. The temperature was just right, and the ambiance felt friendly and warm. I acknowledged that they were closing soon and asked if I could still order a sandwich. They replied in a way that felt welcoming, and
Terrible quality coffee. We ordered a cappuccino and a cortado. Both were made with burnt coffee, and a lot of milk.
