Brimblecomb Hill Bed & Breakfast

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful stay at Brimblecomb. Gene was a great host and greeted us warmly every time we saw him. The muffins offered at breakfast each morning were so delicious! Our room was the one with the private bathroom, the Isaac Mansfield room. It was clean and so quaint. We loved the selection of books in his library, available right there in the room. All of the amenities we needed were already there for us. Gene was helpful with advice for places to visit in and around the area. We absolutely recommend this Inn to anyone seeking a quiet, relaxing, and historical visit to the Marblehead area. The neighborhood is easy to navigate and so fun to wander through. Short walk to the pier as well. Gene, thank you again, and we will be back on our next visit up north

We stayed in the Isaac Mansfield room for 3 nights earlier this month and loved it! Gene is a fantastic host and very accommodating. The house is beautiful and Marblehead is just a great town to vacation to. We originally were planning on spending most of our time in Salem but ended up in Marblehead more. Salem is cool for a day trip but Marblehead definitely has more history to offer and breathtaking views. And the people are so friendly and welcoming. Loved it! Will most definitely be coming back.

Marblehead was the right choice for home base during our week long trip to the area and the Brimblecomb Inn was the perfect choice for lodging! The nearly three hundred year old building is beautiful and cozy, while conveniently located for transit (or Uber) access everywhere we wanted to go. Gene and Janet are wonderful hosts, providing much appreciated guidance about things to see, how to get around - plus great conversation! And the bed in the Isaac Mansfield room was so comfortable! We loved everything about our stay, except leaving.

My friend and I stayed at Brimblecomb at the beginning of October. The room was beautiful and had a shared bathroom w/another tenant. I thought that might have been an issue, but we did not have one the whole weekend. The grounds are well kept, the B&B is clean and I love of all the antique touches. The town of Marblehead is a dream. ||The Brimblecomb is in the heart of town and an easy walk to many restaurants, cafe's, the grocery store, etc. I would love to come back next year. Gene and his wife are wonderful people and truely care about their guests and make you feel right at home. <3

Stayed here 3 nights and loved it. Marblehead has a lot of history and is just a beautiful area. Close to Boston, Salem, Plymouth and other very historic areas. Gene is a very gracious host and the B&B is very clean and comfortable. Sharing a bathroom with a stranger is different but no worries. The baked goods at breakfast come from a local bakery and oh so good!! The room rates are very very reasonable for the area and it isn't every day you can stay in a house built in the 1700's. We'll be back if ever in the Boston area.
