Blue Blossom 青花

I came to Blue Blossom for a casual lunch with a friend I had not seen in a year, and it ended up being the perfect choice. Blue Blossom is a modern, upscale Chinese restaurant that blends traditional dishes with a refined, porcelain-inspired aesthetic. The space feels relaxed and classic with thoughtful design details and a calm energy that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy a meal. Service was warm, attentive, and present throughout our lunch. The mushroom soup is sooo good. I 100% recommend the mushroom soup. I like xiaolongbao except the green one, i think it’s matcha? The other xiaolongshao are so good, juicy and flavorful. People need to stop putting matcha in everything. The white and the black xiaolongbao taste the best. The black pepper beef is also really good. It’s sizzling when they serve it. The environment and decor is very cute. They plays 80s Chinese music and it feels very soothing and nostalgic. I would come back here again.

I had an amazing dining experience at Blue Blossom! Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, and the overall atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The Salted Chicken is an absolute must-try, it’s one of the restaurant’s signature dishes and the presentation is spectacular. They torch the clay crust and carve the chicken right at the table, making it such a unique experience. The meat was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. And the Signature colorful Dumpling it is big, juicy, and full of filling. Each one has its own distinct flavor and texture, making every bite special. The restaurant was incredibly busy for a Thursday night, with a lively, high-energy atmosphere and a line out the door. Although we had reservations, we arrived about 15 minutes late and our table had been given away, which was understandable given how packed the place was. The food itself was very good, but the portions were quite small and felt overpriced for what you get, which made the hype a bit hard to justify.

Hadn't planned to eat here but so happy we did! The Cumin Lamb was delicious and I can't stop thinking about it. If you like Matcha the Matcha Panna Cotta is quite the experience. The waiter was also really kind and answered all of our questions. The food arrived pretty quickly too!
