Bloom Chicken

Sometime last year I stopped off at a random chicken spot while in Hackensack during a visit in that area just to get some food in my stomach real quick and I was BLOWN away by the food, flavor, presentation and choices offered by that Bloom Chicken location. Fast forward to a few weeks ago to my shock I saw a franchise location in my area and went there in excitement hoping the Verona location's quality was the same as Hackensack. It wasn't. The first warning was when I approached the door and it was for a hamburger spot called Woosmash. Confused, I thought I went to the wrong address only to realize this was in fact Bloom Chicken due literally to a piece of paper posted on the door saying “Bloom Chicken” on it. I approached the counter and saw an array of iPads and attempted to order,

Paid $38 for 5 wings and regular french fries. If you put garlic mayonnaise on the chicken wings, it should say that on the menu. Some people are allergic or just don’t like it. It should still be listed as an ingredient.

Best Smash burger I've had in a minute. Owner is super cool and cooked the smash burger himself. That nice char with perfectly pickled jalapenos and cucumbers to cut through the rich fattiness...yum!
