Bleecker Street Uptown Entrance

This station is underground and has 4 track and the 6 train stops at all times and 4 train late night night. This is a local station, and a transfer is available to the 6th avenue line and the station is accessible. Also, that the station is busy during the day and is wheelchair accessible with elevators.

It's a nice decent train station. It tends to be quiet and only one flight to go down. Cleaner than most

The first entrance I went down had no machines to add money to metro card, or buy one (no machines whatsoever.) Went to diagonally across entrance and it did. Then it was extremely cumbersome to get to 6 uptown trains, walking all the way down one platform and then up a level. This happened twice. There is no good signage. Next time would try the Astor Place station for 6 uptown.

This station is quiet and only one flight of stairs down from the street. The station is similar to all stations around the city. It appears to be unmanned or at least it was when we were there. You do need to be on the right side of the street to find the entrance. Like all stations it could do with some decent air and some signage to make the stop more obvious as you are looking for it.

The renovation turned this into a great station. You can finally transfer between (B)(D)(F)(M) and (6) in both directions. Plus, fantastic artwork got installed. Service on the (6) is pretty satisfying most of the time.
