Blake Library (Martin County Library System)

I visited this library for the first time on a Sunday afternoon and was greeted by a very nice young lady at the information desk named Cathy! She was very helpful and very polite. She assisted me with everything I needed. The library was clean, neat and bustling with quiet activity. Thank you, Cathy for making my first visit a pleasant experience. :-)

It had been a long time since I had been to the library. Stepping inside I thought “why did I wait so long to come here?” Wow!! It’s just great! They really do have something for everyone! They have a cool idea lab where they have things to use to create stuff like a Cricket and a 3D printer! And it’s free!!!

Nice place to bring the children. There is a large activity center on the second floor that has a couple of pay and craft areas. Of course, there is a large selection of books and videos. Children can learn on the computer with high quality interactive teaching programs. The parking is a bit inconvenient and scarce. That's my only complaint.

The libraries awesome its resources are incredible and the people there are so overwhelmingly helpful it's not even funny

Annual Christmas concert with the Stuart Community Concert Band! Cookie Ladies from Palm City provided refreshments. What a treat!
