The owner of this business is very unprofessional and rude. She thought it was appropriate to call a loyal customer and accuse her of harassment (according to her employees that were working at the time) for asking to remake some drinks for a DoorDash order that was accidentally dropped while carrying out the door to her vehicle. There was no harassment that took place, period. It was a desperate situation from a newbie DoorDash employee that was in a panic and didn’t know what to do to replace the DoorDash customers, so she looked for Black Pearl for assistance and was treated terrible, like was a criminal for asking to have the drink’s remade. Very cosy place, good coffee, nice staff! The fact that you can walk into the bagel shop next doors from in the coffee shop is great!

Cannot recommend Black Pearl enough for a morning coffee or afternoon energy drink pick me up! The staff is wonderful and are always willing to help my coworkers and me find a new or fun drink to try!

My lotus drink was amazing..love the choice of paper cup and healthier version of energy drink! Very cool and trendy.

Pretty basic coffee menu. Honestly haven't had drink there that would keep me coming back. Seems more popular for younger kids looking for an energy drink. The atmosphere is decent, large space to spread out. Book shelves cozy vibe. Easy parking.
