Absolutely fabulous dining experience— food, service and ambience. Recommend having a reservation. We (3) tried multiple dishes: Lamb Chops, Hamachi, Scallops, Skirt steak, Shrimp, Meatballs and Flan. Each of them resulted in sensory explosion in mouth and then in the brain.😊 Lamb chops were one of the best— perfectly cooked (medium rare as we had asked). Had nice char outside, inside meat was tender, and meat was surprisingly at even temperature inside when eating. Skirt steak was cooked so perfectly. One of the difficult cut to cook for tenderness. They took some time to serve it, but the wait was well worth it. Scallops were really tender and were much larger in size than usually you get in good restaurants. Black Market hosted a pop-up for Fuil Wines on a Sunday. We knew we lliked Black Market's dinner fare but didn't know what to expect on a Sunday afternoon. We were all pleasantly surprised with amazing snack size dishes. The best part was the chefs made sure the foods paired well with the Fuil wines being poured. It was a match made in Wino heaven. We are looking forward to the next monthly pop up.

EXCELLENT experience!!! We went here for my birthday dinner and not only was the food delicious and fresh, but the service was INCREDIBLE. We ordered one small drink, the burrata, meatballs, and tagliatelle, and our waitress (Kristin?) also brought us a comped cauliflower just because she wanted us to try her favorite thing. I forgot names, so sorry, but we interacted with a hostess, our main waitress, and another girl who were all so sweet and kind. They also ended up bringing us out an extra penne dish (not pictured). My daughter ordered the seasonal sorbet (peach-blood orange), and then they also brought me out a scoop of housemade vanilla ice cream to top off my birthday celebration. The service we received was really spectacular. We would absolutely go back, even without the freebies

All I have to say is WOW! What a fantastic time here for dinner while in town visiting. The food was amazing. Best meatballs ever. The sea bass was great. Chicken bao was soo good. Maggie our server was so sweet and even helped me play a trick on my girlfriend and we got her to believe that I ordered a Fluffernutter desert for our appetizer. 😆 we recieved such great service that we will definitely return on our visits to Cali!!

I have been wanting to go here for a long time, but, despite working right up the street, this was the first opportunity. So, I must confess that I am a big fan of Chef Antonia's, having watched her on Top Chef and the Food Network. She is an amazing chef with a great amount of charisma and charm, plus she looks a bit like my wife. With that being said, I was afraid of being disappointed, because I have been to restaurants of celebrity chefs that were much less than expected, Black Market lived up to the hype.
