Bittersweet Bakery

Probably hands down the best cake I have ever had (still eating it a week later!) It was a recommendation from a friend and that recommendation did not disappoint! Will definitely make sure to try and stop by whenever we are in the Harrisonburg area! We had some additional leftover cake and when I brought it into my office, everyone was coming up to me raving about how good it was! Pricing was also really good for the quality and design that we received! Would recommend them for weddings and just to get good dessert!

Bittersweet Bakery made our cake for our elopement. The cake was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Our vision was captured so beautifully. They even opened a bit early so we could pick the cake up when we needed to to better fit our schedule. I would HIGHLY recommend using Bittersweet Bakery for your wedding desserts!

We had Bittersweet Bakery cater our wedding for desserts. We did a small couple cake (red velvet), cake balls, cupcakes, and cookies. We got SO many compliments about how delicious all the desserts were. They delivered and set up beautifully. Their response to email was good and they were very friendly. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I want to thank Erica and Bittersweet Bakery for being so great to work with during the planning stage of my daughter’s September wedding. She went above and beyond for us in every way. The bride & groom cake was elegantly decorated and turned out perfectly! The dessert table was beautiful and a hit with our guests. We loved our choices: cake balls, bitesize cheesecakes, key lime tarts and cupcakes! Thank you for all that you did to make our daughter’s once-in-a-lifetime day all that she had dreamed of!

I’ve had two cakes made by Bittersweet Bakery and both times they’ve been absolutely perfect and exactly what i wanted. I’ve also gotten so many comments from guests that they loved the cake and the icing was perfect. If you need a cake for any event I really cannot recommend Bittersweet bakery enough! Great customer service too! Thank you all for being a large part of my important memories!
