Birrieria La Poblana

Birria Tacos had too much meat (which really shouldn’t be a complaint) and not enough cheese, very dry and lackluster. The excessive meat made the taco unpleasant, and the consume tasted like water. Tried to spruce it up with my own sour cream. My corn never arrived in the bag and I looked forward to it. Won’t order again, save your money. I was expecting Taquiera Xochi in DC level Birria from a random rink dink MD food truck/spot. Should’ve known better. 2 stars because it was edible and it was my only option for dinner tonight since I already ordered and waited.

Found this place yesterday with a short google search. I will be coming here quite often. I ordered the shrimp birria tacos and they were good! The consumme didn't really taste like anything. The server was really sweet and kind. I would recommend.

It was a take out order, but my daughter calls a lot of orders from here. They will have you to pay over the phone, I understand the order was over $50.00, I'm from California and have eaten some really good Birrieria Tacos, these are just as good. I liked the sauce great flavor to it. The staff was kind and pleasant and said thank you and good bye. I'd give the 9 out of 10

Fantastic food, wonderful service,and fast! Ordered 8 orders for carry out: 3 birria quesadillas, 1 birria burrito, 1 carnitas burrito, 1 birria shrimp taco, 1 chicken street taco, and shrimp and avocado. Very filling and delicious. Someone left a review saying there was too much meat - ridiculous. Would visit every day if I could!

I just tried Birrieria La Poblana with my mom for lunch and it was so freaking good. I saw 3 tacos for $20 and I was a little worried but they made it sooooo worth it. My mom had the beef and I had the shrimp birria tacos. (I was so happy bc I’m pescatarian) The shrimp was bussinnnnnnn, I didn’t get to try the beef but my mom really enjoyed. The beef taco was full of meat! The shrimp were small and chopped but the flavor was so good I can’t complain. The consommé and sauce on the side was so tasty. We also tried the street corn and it was yummy 7/10. The chips were great but not the best for scooping the corn. I’ve told all my friends, i’m so happy we finally have some GOOD tacos on this side of town. Plus the interior was so cute and colorful ☺️ Tell a friend to tell a friend!
