Customer Reviews
My son and I were visiting from out of state and stopped in during the late afternoon. We were immediately welcomed in. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was very good. I had Pad Thai and my son had the Potstickers and fries. I thought the atmosphere was relaxed and extremely welcoming and appreciative of our business. I saw that other reviewers did not like the live music (lyrics). When we were there, the TV only played oldies (70's - 90's?), all of which were appropriate, so I can't comment on the live music. I saw that staff treated the other customers very well and there seemed to be regulars coming in. I would definitely come back.
I had coconut shrimp and an alcoholic margarita drink known as Bigfoot Breeze while dining here. both were impeccable and delicious. I also loved the atmosphere here. it feels very woodsy and homey.
It's a growler bar that also serves food. The food was pretty good. We were actually surprised. Though there was a lot of sauce on the brussel sprouts and the tater tots and french fries were a little undercooked. The service was great and he was very nice. But the atmosphere is lacking for sure.
The food tasted good and the waitstaff was great. My only real complaint was that the food did not all come out together. It came 1 at a time and my daughter, 6, got her food last about 30 minutes after the first person got theirs. So most of the adults were done eating when she finally got hers. It was ridiculous, we even asked about it cause we thought they forgot but he just said that dish takes awhile. I just felt like the kitchen end needs to learn how to time manage and prioritize better so everything comes out much closer together.
Not bad place. Small town attention and service. The big draw is the food. Cooked by mommacita in the back. Second is service. These waitpersons are personable and quick. Addition: These servers have to do the serving, take orders and do beer and mixed drinks. A mixed drink takes several minutes, so a group of four could be 12-15 minutes on drinks and orders for one server. They earn their tips.
