These Mexican fries are pure magic-crispy, cheesy, a little spicy if you want it to be, and totally addictive. Pretty sure they sprinkle something on them… probably happiness!
Tonight when I was leaving Meridian Park Hospital in Tualatin. I saw a food cart in the parking lot by the emergency room. The smell coming from it was unbelievable. The hospital Café closes at 2 PM in the afternoon so there’s no food at the hospital after that. I came out it 7:30pm thinking where am I gonna go for dinner? Cocina Nueva Vista was that food cart. I had that most amazing Carnitas steet taco the corn tortilla on the bottom one had been grilled just so it had some flavor. It was just great. It had on a very generous supply of Carnitas. Anybody doesn’t know that’s pork. They had cilantro diced onion with a homemade green salsa that I picked. That was very Flavorful. The owner Marco Perez-Trejo is the owner chief. I also had a Gelatina Mexicana it was wonderful and so pretty. T
Absolutely fantastic food- everything was fantastic! Tallow fries are amazing! And the quesadilla with their carne asada was on another level. Salsa was the best I’ve had! Even picky daughter loved everything! Everything is freshly made and well-sourced!! Owners are lovely - great customer service! Five stars!!!!
I discovered Cocina Nueva Vista’s cart in the Meridian Park Hospital parking lot last night, right as we were deciding on dinner. I saw the cart, pulled in and what a gem we found! The burritos are packed full of rice, beans and meat and the guac gives a great hit of freshness. As spice lovers, we went with the medium salsa which added a fantastic smokey heat. The tostadas were equally amazing. Topped with fresh grown micro greens (from their own farm!) the beans, cheese and crunchy (not greasy) shell were fresh and delicious. (The mild green salsa was the perfect complement.) Cocina Nueva Vista was such a great find, we’re excited to go back and try their other offerings.
Beef tallow French fries and fresh tacos! Seriously delicious and we can't wait for them to have a permanent spot.
