Big E Pizza

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE here. In town on business and wanted a local pizza shop, they had good reviews. Service was VERY GOOD. Ordered the Philly Cheese Steak Pizza. HOLY SHNIKEES IT IS WONDERFULY DELICOUS. SUPER GREAT FLAVOR. The Crust is AWESOME. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Can't wait to go back for a Calzone. Update: Went back for the Big Calzone. They are not kidding around. OMG. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST CALZONE I HAVE EVER HAD. The sauce is FANTASTIC. the cheese is PHENOMENAL. The crust is WONDERFUL. THIS IS A FANTASTICLY WONDERFUL PLACE AND SHOULD BE A STOP FOR EVERYONE.

I ordered a medium 2 topping pizza, the total for which was supposed to be a little over $18. When it arrived it was $29 due to a bunch of fees that I was told about over the phone when I placed my order. And to make matters worse one of the ranch dressing containers was broken open inside the bag with the plates. I called them and asked for a partial refund, they lied and said they told me about the extra fees and refused to even honor the fact that one of the ranches was broken open inside the bag. Very unprofessional and petty.

I never had an issue at Big E before or maybe it is because I would usually order out. My family and I love their food. But the customer service is horrendous!! I was shocked. We came tonight to celebrate someone’s birthday. My sister came before me and told me one of the workers was not courteous. He just gave her the menu, didn’t offer anything or wasn’t welcoming. Since it was a big party, I asked if we can get some special and quickly said no, since specials were only ordering out and delivery. I was going to order since we were there already but my family didn’t feel like they deserved our service. My recommendation would not be to dine in. Unfortunately Big E’s lost some loyal customers today.

Asked for 2 blue cheese. Was given 2 ranch. Dinner is AFFECTED, but not ruined. Strike one. Will be returning again because the customer service was otherwise great. Pizza looks dy-no-MITE! But I shall not forget this ranch transgression. UNTIL THE NEXT TIME! *Additional Review* Upping service to 5 stars because I appreciate the response and care. I’ll be back to order another pizza soon and we’ll get it right! Thanks for everything!

Opened in 1986, Big E Pizza is not just your typical pizza joint—it’s like walking into a mob movie set with all the gangster film posters and photos decorating the walls. The atmosphere definitely has its own unique charm!
