Visited Big Daddy J’s 5 Great Things with my wife and kids while we were in Cocoa Beach and it was a great stop. We ordered the loaded baked potato with pork, brisket chimichangas, 2 brisket sandwich with potato salad and fries, and mac & cheese with a side brisket. Everything had great flavor, and the potato salad was surprisingly really good. The mac & cheese was also a favorite at the table. We liked it so much we ended up ordering a family-size mac & cheese to share. The brisket had good flavor, although it was a little dry for my taste—but that might just be my Texas roots talking since I’m used to Texas-style brisket. Overall, great food, generous portions, and a good spot for families if you’re visiting Cocoa Beach.
Looks like fast food from the outside but offers more than fast food. Portions were generous and service was friendly. Felt like we waited a bit for our food but looked like one person in the kitchen and we did get there when they opened. The baked potato was the largest potato I’ve ever seen. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Brisket sandwich was good. It’s made with Texas toast and had plenty of protein. Potato salad was unique with bacon & deviled eggs. The fries also a little different, in a good way, flat & crispy.
The deserts are amazing. Carrot cake and all. My son had the burger, it was excellent (I got dar tax as usuall!!). I wasn't a big fan of the sliders but others in my group liked them. The highlight was definitely the deserts. Huge and delicious. Service is a bit slow but part of it is because good is made from scratch.
We came in on a Tuesday night and there was free bingo and music themed bingo. Our service was great and the food was excellent. The outdoor seating is great in the summer, but there's plenty of space inside too. They even offer THC drinks! This is a perfect addition to the Cocoa Beach area.
The staff were amazing and the food was superb!!! You will not be disappointed. I ate my brisket taco so fast that I couldn’t take a photo! The rice and beans were so incredible. You are not ready for this brown butter chocolate chip cookie sandwich!!! WE aren’t ready either! EVERY SINGLE THING IS FROM SCRATCH!
