Best Western Mountain View Inn

This hotel is extremely clean. Breakfast is very good. Staff is excellent! The entrance is very scary but the views are beautiful!!

If you are interested in visiting some of the state parks in the area, Ellijay or Blue ridge this is a great Location. It's a great value if you are only coming here to sleep. The hotel sits on a mountain side so the view is great!. Service and staff are very accommodating, the only issue is that there is No pool, no gym and no elevator, at this hotel. Also, the short climb to the hotel could be very steep for some people and the driveway needs some repair.

Great little hotel to serve the purpose at a good price in Ellijay. When we're stopping in for family this is the place to go. Good sized clean rooms, super pleasant staff, nice hot breakfast. The staff is what makes it though. Just a side note so you're not disappointed: the indoor pool (in the photos).. the pool building had to get ripped down unfortunately. Pool has been closed for a long time for renovations it looks like, no clear timeline for completion. Doesn't look like they're actively working on it so presumably the math doesn't work right now (but whatever they need to do to stay in business, I'm fine with!)

This is my second time staying in a Best Western on motorcycle trips. Each time I'm so pleasantly surprised! CLEAN rooms, GREAT service, great locations. The rooms smell good when you walk in the door, and that's important. I will leave a hotel if the room smells like cigarettes or musty, and Best Western nails the cleanliness thing easily. I will stay again - especially because they are motorcycle-friendly there, too. Thanks again to Pepper for making the stay so nice. It is nice to get a smile and a "Hello Mark" when I come back after a day of riding around the area.

I would have gone with five stars (1) if there had been an elevator available for senior-friendly access to level 2 rooms (which in all fairness, the hotel did call me one day in advance and alert me about); and (2) if the breakfast area had been a little less cramped, with a longer serving window than 7 am to 9 am - making it difficult to enjoy. despite the really friendly kitchen staff. The hotel parking lot is at an elevation and provides panoramic views, with benches to sit on and enjoy! Brenda at the front desk went above and beyond to show us (with a detailed printed map) a recommended scenic view route covering the area. The location is great for exploring local attractions including several orchards, cider taverns and wineries.
