Best Western Cedar Inn & Suites

This slowly became one of my fav Best Westerns and I’m a diamond select member. Esther is one of the most kind and easygoing front desk agents I’ve ever came across and she always answers all the questions I have. Although the rooms mostly has hard floor but at least they have rugs on the side on the bed area and by the couch when I got a suite. It was still perfectly comfortable for me. As for breakfast, they mostly have everything but scrambled eggs. At least they have hard boiled eggs, breakfast sandwiches and breakfast burritos as a good alternative. I really like their hotel overall in this small historic town. Can’t wait to stay again at some point!

Stayed 3 nights at the Best Western Cedar Inn & Suites while exploring the various Gold Rush Towns in the Sierra Nevada foothills before heading to Yosemite NP. Found this hotel had a convenient location with ample parking. The entire complex was neat and clean. The breakfast buffet each morning had enough variety to start our day and we never had a problem finding seating. Our room was also neat and clean. As a note - this location only has housekeeping on demand. This wasn't an issue for us as we were only there 3 nights and we had plenty of towels. Also, could request clean towels and extra coffee if needed. I do suggest if deciding to stay here is that you request a 2nd (top floor) room as all the the rooms appear to have vinyl or laminate flooring so the footsteps from above guest (we

Positive: The staff were very helpful, efficient, and friendly. The room was attractive and the bed comfortable. Negative: The guests in other rooms were quite noisy, both late at night and early in the morning. Getting a full night's sleep without earplugs was not possible.

I had a great stay at this Best Western, thanks largely to the amazing staff. Cassandra was incredibly helpful during check-in and even assisted me in extending my stay by an extra day. She made the entire process smooth and stress-free, and she was friendly and professional the whole time. I also want to recognize Kim, who quickly helped me get a new room when I had an issue. She was extremely kind, accommodating, and made sure we were taken care of. Customer service like this truly makes a difference, thank you both!

This is a great hotel especially for a Best Western. It is well stocked and cared for. The management and the workers are all friendly and courteous. I will definitely recommend and stay again when we travel. Breakfast is great. The only reason I didn't give a five star is because the bathroom needs ventilation and it wasn't put in. It can smell musty and steamy for a long time after a shower.
