Best Cook

Not my usual go to but they were closed tonight. Ordered via a delivery service and got a veggie egg roll, vegetable moo shu, lobster chop suey, and veggie fried rice. It was okay. It was typical take out Chinese. They deserve credit for having lobster dishes available. The fried rice, that I ordered with egg had no egg. There were NO packets of soy, duck, or mustard in the bag. I have never needed to ask for this at other places.

Got a pick up to go and the food was ready on time. Shrimp lo mein was very tasty. However, I do wish there were more veggies in vegetable and shrimp fried rice. Both dishes tasted bland. But the portions are huge and I would go again to try something else on the menu.

I'm hoping one of the worst Chinese meals I've had in a long time was a one time issue. I've been eating here for 3 years and I drive 20 minutes from my home since they usually do an above average "Chinese lunch" meal at a reasonable price. We'll today was different and hopefully it will never happen again or I will save my gasoline! Let me first say that it was Wednesday. This restaurant starting closing on Tuesdays in the past year. That means that there is always going to be a possibility that on Wednesday when they open that their high volume food like fried rice was made on Monday. They usually do a decent job with fried rice and normally it is a lighter color when fresh. This was darker and looked old and sure enough it was dry and not tasty. Okay... Atmosphere is a working take out business. Don't judge by this. People are great and so is the food.

The food was terrible, I ordered general tso and beef chowmein. My general tso was soggy and watery with zero flavor and my beef chowmein was gray and soggy as well. They botched the order and gave me rice instead of noodles and when we called to tell them about it, we were met with the worst customer service I’ve had in a while! The person on the phone was indifferent and dismissive. 100% will never eat there again. Threw the food right in the trash.
