Went here after reading the great reviews. Worth the hype. Great food and great prices. The staff is amazing and the atmosphere is great too. It was busy for a Tuesday night so best to reserve a table ahead of time specially for weekends.

OMG! This place was just wow! Everything was super fresh and delicious! It just melts in your mouth!! 😍 Service is super quick and friendly staff. Had to wait about 15 mins for seating because the place was packed on a weekday!

Their ramen was really good and they have a bigger serving. Staff was accomodating.

I’ve ordered here twice now. I can attest to the fact that this is probably the freshest food I’ve had in some time, you can just taste it. Chicken hibachi was consistently delicious each time. The gyoza is fantastic and I really enjoy the vegetable tempura with dipping sauce. I love that there is food like this right in Guilderland. If you’ve not tried it yet - do so!! I wanted to add a picture but I ate it all. I ordered food to take home.

Visited Akanomi for the first time after hearing good reviews. The restaurant was bigger than I thought with a relaxing atmosphere. The waitress was friendly and gave us plenty of time to review the menu, didn’t make us feel rushed. I ordered the dinner box for $25.99 which was plenty of food. I didn’t even finish all the rice. I would definitely order again maybe even try a few sushi rolls. They had a very large selection in the menu.
