Bernie's Foreside

This is a great breakfast place. The folks working here are so nice. The restaurant was very busy but we were seated in a booth after a little wait. I got the homemade hash with eggs and my friend got a banana strudel muffin. We had bottomless coffee. Good food at a reasonable price.

Took FOREVER!!! I waited for 30 min for a seat and once seated took so long to get my food. New experience for me at Bernie’s as I’ve been popping in for 3 years and every time had this wonderful waitress, I think her name was something along the lines of Kaylee? I’m not great with names but we need more of her around she’s amazing! The food is mediocre and the bagels are a HUGE no go. Very chewy and way overpriced!!! Not to mention when grabbing some muffins to go the tattooed lady spoke in a very rude manner. Where has customer service gone? Do better.

Nice local place for breakfast and lunch. Good menu selections and reasonable prices. Service and food portions were fine. Seating at table or bar area. I rarely give 5 stars as they are for uniquely exceptional experiences. Nothing bad or wrong here, it is as good a place as you will find in the area. Solid, reliable, and casual. I come here often.

Breakfast with eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs, pancakes, and bacon. Eggs Benedict was very good, as was the scrambled. The pancakes were dense and a bit dry. The bacon was overcooked and dry/brittle. Service was quick and cheerful. A solid break fast just the same.

Food is delicious! Take out cashier is very friendly and accommodating! Take out bagel maker has a bit of an off putting tone but it’s not a big dealio! Definitely a place to grab some tasty bagels!
