Quaker Tavern B&B

We recently stayed with Donna for 10 days while we were building bamboo fly rods in Falmouth. What a convenient and restful location, especially after a long day of work. Donna is a delightful and accommodating host, and her breakfast were top notch and filling! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and very clean! Most of all Donna respected our privacy and adjusted her schedule to provide early morning breakfasts for us. The home and property are absolutely beautiful! Stayed here 2 nights last fall and truly enjoyed it. Donna is an amazing lady and has so much knowledge about the history of the Tavern. The breakfasts were delicious and more than enough food! The surrounding area is wonderful to explore.

I came to Portland/Falmouth for a friend's wedding. Summer hotel rates were ridiculously high so I looked for other options, and came across Quaker Tavern B&B on TripAdvisor. Donna was helpful and responsive with my pre-booking questions by email, and I got a great vibe from her through our communications. I booked for myself and a friend, and a little later another two friends booked for themselves for the same wedding so the four of us basically had the whole house to ourselves. The house was easy to get to from the airport in our rental car, and there was even a sign out front with our names on it to welcome us. Donna was attentive and such a delight to talk to. She also respected our privacy and made us feel independent in the home, which was great since I don't like hosts who are too

What a great discovery, from the sweetly handwritten sign that greeted us and pointed us to our room (with our dog! Donna welcomes well-behaved dogs) to the leisurely, delicious, custom-prepared breakfast we shared with Donna the following morning.||Not only did she beautifully present our morning meal, but Donna also gave me the recipe for her irresistible vegetable-egg casserole. Our time with Donna was unforgettable - and when I FORGOT and left behind a shirt of mine, she hand-laundered and sent it to me in NYC. ||Much more than an overnight stay - this was a great connection with a fiercely imaginative, independent woman who is a lifelong seeker, and a protector of the natural world.||Thank you, Donna!

We had a cozy and comfy wrong with our own private bath. Antique furnishings were snuggle friendly :-) but comfortable and the breakfast of fresh Eggs and homemade waffles was delicious. Donna is an excellent host we enjoyed our chat with her. If we are in the area we will stay with Donna again
