Berimbau Brazilian Table - 36th Street

Berimbau is a Brazilian restaurant that recently opened its second location on 36th Street, and it’s a great addition to the area. From the moment we walked in, the host was very warm and attentive. Even without a reservation on a Sunday, she welcomed us and did her best to accommodate us, which we truly appreciated. The ambiance is nice and modern, and on Sundays they have live music that creates a great vibe. The food and drinks were delicious. Definitely a place worth visiting!” 🇧🇷

Had a wonderful experience here from the time I walked in until the time I exited, very friendly and welcoming hostess. Great experience with the bartenders, also friendly and willing to speak Portguese with me (I’m not fluent but I enjoy practicing). The atmosphere is incredible, I almost felt out of place being casually dressed for such a beautiful ambiance. The bar seating was comfortable, modern and well kept. Bathroom facilities also very nice. Just a few blocks from the path/34th st F, M, D, B and Q, N, R subway stop Herald Square so it’s convenient. The caipirinha was the highlight of my experience. My husband and I were searching for the perfect place to celebrate our intimate wedding, and Berimbau immediately came to mind. It holds a special place in our hearts, as it was also the location of our first date, and we’ve always loved its atmosphere. From the very first contact, the Berimbau team was incredibly attentive and welcoming. Jaqueline truly understood my vision and went above and beyond to accommodate special requests, including a wedding cake table and a customized menu ♥️. Visited here for restaurant week. the croquettes were awesome! entrees were interesting, but just ok. A shame they didn't have the pork steak, we were most excited for that one. Desserts were well presented and lovely.

From service to the meal experience, everything is inviting, pleasant and delicious. I love how they have the executive meal which is a combination of appetizer with main entrees. Amazing options and the strogonoff and feijoada tasted amazing. We also had the “batida perfeita” drink which IS perfectly yummy as well as the lemon flan. To top it off the music is very pleasant and the bathroom is clean. Berimbau is definitely a favorite now. We had an amazing time.
