Benny's Luncheonette

Really good local place. Met up with 2 friends for breakfast a week ago. We grew up in the area, use to visit Bennys 45 years ago when it was more of a convenience store. Today’s Bennys is really well done. Service was great, waitress was extremely nice, friendly throughout our time there. Food was spot on, omlettes, salad, and biscuits with gravy, 2 eggs over easy could not have been better. Prices a little steep, but that’s par for the course these days. Anyway, highly recommend

Located off of Saddle River Road, this beloved neighborhood staple establishment enjoys high foot traffic among locals and visitors alike and is perfectly positioned in a busy commercial area of Fair Lawn known for its pastrami sandwiches and its hearty menu. For over 25 years, Benny's Luncheonette has offered an excellent opportunity, and my partner and I came for brunch as first-timers today. No reservations are allowed at this location, so it is first come, first served. Upon entering this cozy old-school diner vibe filled with old memorabilia of phonograph records and wall posters, we were greeted by the staff and able to get a booth along the right side of the restaurant where the aroma of great-smelling food just SMACKED one right in the face. this place is such a gem and we will definitely be back. the food was reasonably priced and soooooo yummy. we recommend the corned beef hash and eggs and the patty melt. our waitress was so kind and attentive, and our food came out very quickly.

It was several years since I've been here. I don't know what I waited for. This place simply is the best around. I have not had anything that is not stellar. The omelets and hash browns are so good. My daughter had the French toast which was amazing. Do not miss this when you're in the area.... Gi6ve stars
