This place is the best! Greatest Italian food in the DMV for the price. I’ve been here multiple times now and always impressed with the quality of service, taste of food, and excellent experience. Not just pizza and pasta either… their eggplant is amazing! Every meal comes standard with bottled water, Italian bread with oil, and a starter salad. Amazing deals on Groupon too!!! And the staff, super friendly! Love it.

Small, cozy, unpretentious, family/osteria-type restaurant with a surprisingly diverse italian food menu hidden behind a strip mall-type entrance in Alexandria’s Del Ray neighborhood. Pasta prepared ‘al dente’ with flavorful sauces. Lots of flavor in the food from garlic, oregano, and olive oil. Peroni on tap, and Italian wine favorites by the glass or bottle. The flavorful cannoli dessert takes you back to Sicilian open-air markets followed by an espresso that makes you smile as the frothy brew reveals the coffee flavor you have been searching for. I looked out the window a few times thinking I’d see an Italian street scene only to remember I am in Alexandria. Can you tell I like this place? They say you normally have about 12 restaurants you gravitate around. Bella Napoli now occupies 2

We had groupon so we stopped here for lunch. It’s a small place located in a cute neighborhood. It wasn’t too busy on a Sunday afternoon. The waitress was friendly and the service was great. We ordered the bruschetta as an appetizer, gnocchi and tortellini in cream sauce and Italian cheesecake for dessert. The food was pretty good and tasted fresh. The cream sauce was good too. Portion sizes weren’t bad, good size for lunch. Looking forward to going back and trying other dishes.

This place has the best pizza in town—perfectly crisp crust, fresh toppings, and so much buttery flavor in every bite. The owner is incredibly friendly and makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. The patio is decent too—great spot to enjoy a meal outside when the weather’s nice. Highly recommend if you’re craving great pizza!
