I ordered mine is a carryout first time I’ve ever been to this franchise and I was impressed. The beef was very good and a lot more than the competition gives the fries were the best fries I’ve ever had a decent meal I will go back and it wasn’t overly expensive

Kinda disappointed in this place. I finally had the chance to stop by. The beef was pretty good, not bad but average for a beef sandwich. I had the cheesy beef on garlic bread. I ordered the mini thinking it was at least a 6 inch but it was actually 2.5 inches, which was ridiculous, something that should be on a kids menu, and it was $9. Wow. I couldn’t taste the garlic either, maybe they forgot? Hot giardiniera was an up charge and I didn’t get any oil in it, just dry vegetables. The tables weren’t wiped and really greasy so I had to wipe mine with a napkin. Anyhow, I’m starting to see a pattern developing with corporate restaurants, everything is tiny and prices are enormous. It boggles my mind that people still pay so much for so little. Had the Italian beef with hot peppers, cheese, and large fries. The beef, very good. In comparable to other quality beef in the city. Like Johnny’s beef, highly recommend.

The Chicago Dog is definitely better than portillos! I haven't eaten portillos dog in years bc the skin is tough and dog is tasteless. Beef Shack dog is perfect and tasty. The fries are delish and so much better than the other place. Their beefs beat the competition, too. It would be nice if the staff would say thank you for spending they're time and money at their establishment. No one says thank anymore. They expect the customers to say please and thank you now.

Ordered a pickup while working on a cold weekend afternoon. This was my first time trying the place out and it was hands down one of the best beefs I’ve had. The fries were fresh and perfectly salty. Whoever they have working on Sundays is throwing down in the kitchen!
