Sammy's Restaurant & Bar

We stopped in for dinner and a drink. I had what turned out to be the best hamburger I have had in months. Obviously made fresh, it came with fries that were almost as good. My wife had a gyro sandwich that was, according to her, as good as my burger. My drink wasl larger than I expected, but proved to be as good as the burger. The bar tended to be a little noisy at times, but what the hell, this is a bar. I also had to give five stars for the great service from the lady who also had to tend bar. The place is obviously worth coming back to, and we definitely will!

So we take a motorcycle ride up to More Brewing in Huntley and run into this very nice barkeep. We told her where we were going to eat while in town. She suggested Sammy's. So we gave them a try. What a delightful surprise. All 4 of us were happy with the quick service and the waitress was on it when we made changes to our order from what was on the menu. "No problem!" she told us every time we added or deleted something that came in our choices. Drinks were delivered asap. And when the food arrived I was thinking how I was going to try and eat all of it there was so much. The whole time we were there she came over and asked us if we needed anything. Super place for great food and excellent service. Not fancy but a wonderful spot to chat with neighbors and friends!

Been here a few times, everything I have had so far was delicious. Employees are also friendly and inviting.
