Bedroll and Breakfast

This was a unique break from our hotel hopping vacation through Yellowstone and the Tetons. A night of roughing it with an outhouse, sleeping bag and tent—offset by a full service staff doing all the setup, cooking, and cleaning. My 8-year-old daughter wanted to stay another night and I loved that she got a taste of semi-rustic camping. The trail ride was exceptionally fun. The staff was friendly and gracious. The food was delicious and they were awesome about accommodating our picky eater. The experience was special, not because it was perfectly comfortable—but because it wasn’t—and it reminded us of our childhood rustic girl/boy Scout camping days.

Had an awesome experience with these guys. If you’re visiting Yellowstone and looking for a unique experience I would highly recommend calling them. The horseback ride was a lot of fun and a great opportunity to see some back country. We had an awesome campfire meal and it was nice to kick back away from the thousands of tourists that are all over the National Park. In the morning we took advantage of their newly built shower which was super refreshing, and had plenty of water pressure and heat. The tents were very nice, and even included a propane heater. Overall I would highly recommend giving them a call if you’re feeling a little bit adventurous on your travels in Yellowstone.

My son and I came to this site and was excited by camping. My son is a big scrappy 23yo, he is not much about horseback riding. We decided to scrap our plans to stay. Why? The sky was dark and we were hearing lightening and thunder, we were told we might not get to ride, when we came in they were surprised we came! And they started to clean our tent! The toilet was an outhouse up a hill. The tent couldn’t zip—but they would get a clip for us! The bedroll (sleeping bags) looked like it was slept in by others and not changed. The tent is a cover, with mats on the ground! The floor is not connected. It was COVID19 season and I didn’t see hand washing station, no sanitizer....and no one had a mask on, including us! I loved this experience. The camp is by a creek, the tents are very basic which is part of it's charm, no electricity or wifi or anything like that but again that's part of the charm. I left all my vorries behind and enjoyed reconnecting w nature, the horses, the people and myself and it was AMAZING!!!! Highlight of my trip.

Mind that it's a camp, amidst the forest, with no electricity or heating. But they provide warm sleeping bags, breakfast and dinner, good company and useful suggestions - and it's really a different experience from your usual hotel stay
