Beautiful Day

For being a small and quaint restaurant the food was really good! We got the smash burgers with different add ons and the fingerling potatoes side wow! It was great! We also ordered a kids meal for my friends son and the waffle was yummy. I ordered the mermaid matcha and it was OK. Service was great very accommodating as we had made a reservation for outside and then moved inside. Thank you for that we definitely liked the ambiance and we are not from the east side of the Coachella Valley to say we will definitely be back but we will try.

one of the best parts of exploring new places is discovering all of the new small businesses to support 🫶🏼 We happened upon a magical place on our way to the lake yesterday. Just the day before, my son said, "Mommy, I'm going to invent gluten free chicken nuggets one day!" Then @itsabeautifulday.love entered the chat with THE CUTEST vibes, amazing service AND gluten free fried chicken and waffles with a heavenly pecan and maple emulsion. And yes, if that wasn't enough, my mermaid matcha was blue and topped with edible glitter! So, like, I don't know what your Sunday brunch plans are, buttttt they should definitely be there! 🖤🫶🏼✨️

Update: Two years later. Not too much has changed but the service was 100x better. There was only one server and she got a little busy but she was working her butt off. The food was still amazing and best part, we didn’t have to wait an hour for it. I really do like this place and think it’s one of the best breakfast spots in La Quinta so I’m glad we had a better experience. Won’t wait so long until our next visit this time. Old review: The food here was delicious. I had a burrito that had some sort of sauce inside that was top notch. Only thing, it took about an hour to get our food! The service was not top notch. Our server took our order then never came back. We had to ask the bus boy to find out what was happening with our food. Didn’t even bother asking for fresh coffee and some wate

Can’t beat A Beautiful Day!!! An absolute gem of a restaurant and cafe. Chic and laidback, quaint and cool all at the same time. BEST WAFFLES EVER! Excellent organic coffee, delicious meals including vegan and gluten free options that don’t sacrifice flavor or textures. Plenty of parking. Across from a lovely La Quinta park and close to downtown for stroll after your Beautiful Day Cafe gorge!!!
