Bear Foot Bay Indoor Water Park

Nice little water park. It’s part of the Country Inn and Suites along with the restaurant. Unfortunately it’s open to the public so between hotel guests and local visitors it gets super busy and overcrowded. Fairly clean but almost an overwhelming “cloud” of chlorine in the air. Several of our group staying in the hotel had coughing and airway irritation. Most of us had irritated and itchy skin which we needed to show off. Definitely targeted more for the preteens and toddlers. Nice hot tub but again overcrowded, especially either teen/pre-teen guests making it almost unbearably and not relaxing.

Water quality is HORRIBLE! The chlorine level is so powerful it makes your eyes burn! You start coughing within 10 min of just sitting... The HVAC system is not running... so the air is circulating... This a HEALTH Hazard and should be closed by health officials until fixed. We stayed at the hotel for 3 days for a funeral and wanted the kids to enjoy the water... worst experience in a long time...

Wonderful Family weekend place for Grandparents @ parents with small kids. Full, good breakfast. Beautiful rooms. Great value!!!!! Fun , friendly!!!

We visited on a Wednesday in July. The waterpark entertained my 1.5 year old for 3 hours. While we were there, another girl probably 6 or 7 years old was playing for over 4 hours. No food is allowed inside, however it looked like other people had brought in snacks because there were gold fish crackers on the ground. This place is a great hotel swimming pool. I have a hard time calling it a water park. It is a fancy hotel swimming pool. The little kid pool ranges from 3 inches to 15 inches of water. The big kid pool ranges from 3 feet to 4 feet. The big water slide is only open when a lifeguard is present. Usually on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays they said. While we were there the stairs to the big water slide was locked. We stayed here over a Saturday night and had a nice time. The pool area was perfect for our 4 year old and kept him entertained for hours. They have lots of nice restaurants in the area. The hotel room was clean and updated and they had a decent breakfast in the morning. The pool area had 2 pools and a water slide. The smaller pool ranged in depth from 9” to 2’. It was big enough that our 4 year old had fun playing but small enough that we didn’t have to eagle eye him the whole time. Many hotel pools start deep enough that he can’t touch anywhere so this was a nice change. A nice budget option for a winter time weekend getaway.
