Big group of 18 of us had been hiking earlier that day. Decided to check this homey place out. They said they couldn’t take a reservation but could gladly take us in once we arrived. Once we arrived a kind server helped us organize our party and how to order. Giving out great recommendations. Can declare that these are the best smash burgers I’ve ever had. Pizzas were up there as well. The most kind staff I’ve ever encountered, super friendly and treated us like family. Will definitely be recommending this place to everyone I know

Absolutely wonderful wonderful service!! Such an amazing variety of ice cream. We got bacon smash burgers and the patty is smashed into bacon bits so the whole top is covered in bacon- the best way to get bacon in every bite!! Fried mushrooms were AMAZING!! And whatever the special sauce is awesome! Just a wonderful experience overall!

This place is an absolute gem. We had the pleasure of being helped by Trish who was so sweet and patient. We ended up ordering the veggie pizza, mozzarella sticks, onion rings and got two waffle cones that each had two different scoops of ice cream. The first thing we tried was the ice cream and oh my was it DELICIOUS. The ice cream was creamy and so flavorful. The best part was you could eat each flavor and move on to the next and the flavors didn’t mix. There were many ice cream flavors it was hard to choose which to do because they all looked so good. You could either dine here or get food for takeout which is great. Food wise there seemed to be a lot of options and the food was great. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Local Spot with Flavor and Hospitality We were visiting from out of town and stumbled across The Porch—it looked like the perfect place to satisfy everyone in our group, with options like pizza, burgers, and ice cream. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, and even though it's more of a counter-service setup, the staff was incredibly welcoming. Honestly, they checked in on us and made us feel more valued than some full-service restaurants. We ordered pizza, and it was fantastic—loaded with toppings and rich in flavor. What most places would call "extra cheese" and "extra everything" seemed to be their standard. If we had more time in town, I’d definitely come back to try the burgers too! My boyfriend and I are from Indiana. We are staying in Iowa for a mini vacation and went hiking at Pikes Peak State Park. We decided to hop across the state border into Wisconsin for our dinner. We fell upon The Porch and were extremely happy with our meals (Prime steak & cheese, and Battered shrimp). We both agreed they were delicious and wish we could have tried more options as too much sounded good! Everyone that we encountered that was working was so kind. We ended our night with ice cream that was also 10/10. I can't wait to come back next time we are in the area to try something else!
