This place was rated as #14 best burger in America, according to Yelp. Believe it! That French Pastry dough used to encase the two beef patties make for an excellent combination. This is a small woman owned business but has lots of passion and it shows in their food. Get either the Mac and Cheese or potato salad. Both are excellent side dishes. Outside seating only. Call ahead for pick up. If not, expect a 20 minute wait while they make your order fresh. Everything is freshly made every day. Ample parking in front. Great desserts as well. Outstanding!

Unique and delicious! We tried the beef and chicken burgers and they were so good. The spices and the pastry dough really showed that everything was homemade and made with love. Thyme and spicy chips were crispy and the portions were perfect. Everything is made to order and will take about 25 minutes to cook, so call ahead if you don't want to wait. We talked to one of the co-owners, Bliss, and she really cared about our experience and we could tell she had so much passion for the store which reflected in the food. We will definitely be back to taste more of the menu!

Food is amazing. Very juicy and soft! I love the beef burger inside puff pastries. The pastries are great. The Himalayan pink salt home made potato chips are also my favorite. Homemade potato salad is very fresh and delicious as mom made.

Please support this local business GEM! This is my first time trying Bear Bitez and I could absolutely tell that the owner/chef here puts lots of love and passion in creating her burgers. This is not your average burger. You can taste the time and effort she put in testing the flaky puff pastry, different blends of meats, and cheese to truly developing her flavor. The beef burger was amazing and incredibly juicy. I was expecting the chicken to be the same assembly as the beef so I was surprised when I found out it was Mexican inspired with a chicken patty, jalapeños, and a different cheese. I would love to try a shredded chicken version of this one. The owner told me before the pandemic they would be making the burgers every 20 minutes. Who would have known this little gem sits in a strip mall in a low traffic part of Newark. Glad I heard about it on Yelp and will be back to try the veggie burger. Tried the beef burger, spicy chips, Mac n cheese, and a cherry pie. All was perfectly cooked and delicious. We will be back and often
