Allstar Burger

What a true hidden gem. The guy at the counter had the energy that he owned the place, and maybe he does! I was getting a smog check (my normal spot) and finally I decided to get a burger. Far surpassed any expectations I had (which were moderate) but absolutely delivered a great meal and great experience Which is awesome to see from a small business down the road from me in Newark. Go here now

I was in Newark heading to a client meeting and decided to stop by this spot. It has an old-school vibe but a great atmosphere. The place is run by an all-women team, and they recommended the Beacon Cheeseburger. I'm glad they did! The burger was cooked perfectly, as was the bacon, and the bread was just the right texture. If you're in the area and craving a good burger, this is definitely the place to go.

I live close by Allstar Burger, but I had years not stopping by. We had lunch there today and we found it different, new tables, new name, clean and possibly new owners. Food is really good, real bread bun and fresh meat, meant to be delicious not appealing. Really good shakes, however the large is the size of McDonald’s xxl soda and is $10+. Spent $50 for 2 people, but was really good. Also they don’t wear gloves here when preparing food, but facility seems clean and employees working hard. Also the cashier manually calculates the total off the top off her head so maybe not accurate…

One the best burgers I have ever had. Pretty large burger cooked perfectly with a nice bun. The side sauces are also really good especially the all star sauce. The fries were perfectly crisp but still soft on the inside. Overall really nice staff and they made my burger quite fast as well. Definitely check this place out, they also make milkshakes and have ice cream for sale!
