Beachside Tavern

My husband and I visited this lakeside restaurant for a late lunch. We were greeted promptly and got to choose a table…..we opted for the bar so we could gaze at the great lake view. The bartender, Michelle, waited on us and was very friendly and upbeat. We ordered beverages and my husband ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich and I ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. He loved his pork tenderloin and I enjoyed my Philly cheesesteak, but it definitely could have used a little dipping into the au jus before hitting the flattop. It was a little dry. That’s the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars for the food. The fries and sandwich toppings very good. Went here for dinner on a couple of occasions, one summer one winter. Summer time we went in the evening and sat on the large deck over looking the water. Food was fresh and flavored great. My kids loved the hand made chicken tenders. Winter time the inside has a nice cozy environment as well. And food was great as well. They seem to have two menus. One for normal fair and the other for seasonal specials I believe. Definitely highly recommended for knox indiana.

So enjoyed the Brisket Flatbread! Very tasty and something different! Our waitress, Piper, was very attentive to our table and very kind. I hope this restaurant makes it so we can make it our Go-to place when we come to Bass Lake!

Michelle did a fantastic job at the bar. She is a stellar team member at Beachside. Perch basket and Mexican street corn tasted delicious. Will soon return to try other great-looking food options.

We had a very pleasant visit! Our server/bartender, Michelle, was attentive and fun! The pork tenderloin sandwich was delicious! Nice lakeside dining option!
