This place is actually elite. So delicious. The goat curry, the jallof rice, the beans, everything. Great for gluten free options. Great for vegetarian and meat eaters. 3 of us got a decent-sized meal for $35 total (~$12 per person). There’s a lot of seats.

Delicious Authentic East? African food by the pound. They have a great rotation, don't be intimidated by the selection! For those not used to the oil or salt get some onion sauce to balance. The oxtail is also phenomenal here.

This restaurant just opened this past week, I highly recommend this place and will try the whole fish next. Ample seating, food selection and very well seasoned. Freshly renovated and spotless inside. Please come support this place, where else is there jollof rice in Hell’s kitchen 💯🔥

If you like buffet style and West Indian/east African food, check this out. Everything is so good!! Jerk chicken and oxtail are delicious with good flavor and great quality. I like all the rices. Quick lunch or take to go. If you like spicy, ask for the hot sauce. Fire!!

This is the second B&D location in Hells Kitchen (43rd and 9th). The food was just as piping hot and delicious as the OG location. Clean space, kind staff. I can’t wait to return. I just wish the food was better labeled because it’s hard to tell whats what. But regardless, everything is delicious so it doesnt really matter in terms of taste. (But it doesnt in terms of potential allergies). There are lots of places to sit too. Great for a large group sit down or solo dining.
