Food's consistently great. Service is quick and simple. Lines can get a little long with wait times during peak hours, but for regular waits, you can expect to get a table quickly. Their raw marinated crab is incredibly flavorful and tofu soup is, of course, the star of the show. My partner usually orders the galbi short ribs and loves it. Perfect place to eat during a cold winter day. Can't recommend enough.
I ordered takeout from BCD Tofu House in Manhattan last night and it was honestly such a pleasant surprise. I was really hungry and didn’t expect much from delivery, but everything arrived in great condition and tasted amazing. The appetizers were so well done — the beans and broccoli were simple but flavorful, and the little fried fish was still crispy when it arrived, which really impressed me. We also ordered the assorted tofu soup, which came with shrimp and clams. The broth was rich and comforting, and the tofu was silky and delicious. On top of that, we got the tteokbokki, which was also really tasty. Everything was packed carefully and still hot when it arrived. Definitely one of the best Korean takeout meals I’ve had in Manhattan. Would absolutely order again!
Visited here on recommendation from a few frequenters in NYC. I thought this would be an underground spot, but it absolutely was not; humble doors open to a sprawling high-ceiling seating area with multiple areas and a loft. Ninety-five percent of the seats were filled. We were recommended the kimchi soon tofu (a soft tofu soup served with rice on the side), and the seafood pancakes. I went for the dumpling soon tofu, which was delicious and filling. Make sure to crack the egg into the soup early, so it cooks. Between all the banchan, rice, and soup, the price was more than worth it. Will definitely be taking guests here in the future.
Great spot in Koreatown for a last minute late dinner. The food was really good and the atmosphere felt lively but still casual. There was a line outside, but it moved quickly and we got seated faster than expected. If you are looking for a place with good food and a good vibe that is not dead at night, this is a solid choice.
Everything is great. Love the fried fish they served in the beginning. Place might be too busy, so staff might forget your small request sometimes. Definitely will come back for their galbi 🤩
