Basil Thai

Only Thai restaurant I’d would go to consistency authentic food. Lunch and dinner time always great food. Grow up in Thai Town in LA, taste has high standards. Highly recommended to try and eat plus enjoy the authenticity. Pad Thai, panang curry, fried eggrolls, basil eggplant pork, among other things that are great!

Basil Thai is a wonderful spot! The food is consistently great—especially the eggplant dish and the yellow curry chicken, which are absolutely delicious. The servers are sincere, warm, and truly welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

I stopped in for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The team working there was super attentive and helpful. I had the Thai basil with ground chicken lunch special and it was excellent. Just the right amount of heat and so flavorful. This is my go to dish at Thai restaurants and I just love it when I find a great one. The portions are large, so I had enough for 2 meals. Definitely worth a try!

I tried the basil fried rice, mango sticky rice, and Thai iced tea and wow, this was some of the best Thai food I’ve had in a while! The flavors were authentic and perfectly balanced. The food was so good that I only remembered to take a photo of the leftover of desert! Definitely a place I’d recommend and would love to visit again.

Update..5.5.2023. I have to say this is a memorable dining experience. After this place is trying to open for over 2 years during that pandemic, this family puts out tasty pan asian dishes that are Thai and Vietnamese infused. I definitely recommend sit down meals here. Take out really anywhere loses its texture and the care that's put into each dish. As you can see from the food we ordered, it was so well prepared and delicious. The owners take pride in serving you personally and coming to visit your table. The wait staff is service oriented. I definitely recommend you ask them for their favorite dishes or do like we did and try a little bit of everything. The ambience is modern and clean. Belly up to the well stocked bar. Great drinks!
