Barry-Lawrence Library

A well run library in a historic building in the downtown area. We have enjoyed the homeschool and youth programs and the summer reading program. The staff is very helpful and friendly and make the library a center for community engagement.

It's a pretty small library, limited catalogue. Rarely do they have a book on a subject I'm looking into. It is a nice building though.

Our local library is filled with people who have become family!! Always friendly, welcoming, and going above and beyond for my kiddo. Super thankful for them!

We love our library. The employees all go above and beyond and are genuinely caring people. The resources at the library are impressive as well as all the programming. Children's library is well stocked with thoughtful toys and books and plenty of space for kiddos.

The books are rarely in order, the people are rude, and they never answer their phones. On the plus side, they have most of the books I am looking for and the online card catalog is very nice. I would definitely recommend going to a different Barry-Lawrence Co. library, like Shell Knob.
