THE BEST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECIEVED. They people were soooo nice and we had such genuine conversations with the staff. Literally gave us 4 free soju shots each. Aside from the amazing service the food was super fresh and good. The drinks were also really good no complaints. The ambiance was also very vibe chill date night or girls night spot. I would recommend this place to everyone a 10/10 hidden gem that shouldn’t be hidden because everyone deserves this type of experience.

We popped into Baro + K because it was conveniently located where we were staying, and I’m glad that we did. My wife and I come to NYC pretty regularly and usually stay around K town, so we’ve tried a decent number of spots in the area. It can be hard to stand out in NYC, but this spot definitely did! We ordered three rolls Red Planet (creamy with a perfect light rolling heat after you finish each piece), Crunchy Tuna Roll (rich and crunchy, my wife loves tuna so we had to try it and it was phenomenal), and Tropical Roll (one of the most refreshing rolls I’ve ever had). The ambience was great, the material choices and textures give it a warm and moody atmosphere, and the mirrors down the right side make the room feel very open. Came here for happy hour with a friend and had such a great experience! The drinks were amazing and the quick bites were just as good. I highly recommend the lavender cosmo — it’s truly one of a kind — and the mozzarella sticks were delicious. Definitely a spot I’d come back to!

Great food and service! Very welcoming and informative staff at the bar. Answered all of our questions as first timers and offered us sake shots at the bar. Highly recommend for good and affordable sushi. Maybe you’ll get lucky enough and they’ll let you spin the wheel!

Happy hour here is a really good deal! prices are reasonable. The rolls and sashimi are super fresh and taste great. The vibe is relaxed and cozy, so it’s a nice spot for a date. The place is new and clean, and the staff are friendly and attentive.
