Barbizon Modeling of Wilkes-Barre

Barbizon has changed my life, let me share my story. I thought it would be better to go directly to New York first. I went, but ended up getting misled, where I had to pay thousands of dollars for photos and a website. I no longer wanted to move forward with that company. So, I then contacted Barbizon, and they helped me get out of the contract. I began my training at the Wilkes-Barre Barbizon location. I was very shy and couldn't speak in front of people. I've learned so much, I gained confidence, etiquette, and manners. Barbizon offers students casting calls in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. I am a current student at Barbizon in Wilkes Barre. My first class starts this Sunday, and I'm really over the moon excited! I met two students at my audition. Both young women were very lovely and spirited. They did not treat me like the mean girls in my High School treated me back when I was still in High School. I'm 26 and a mom so I'm usually very skeptical about new places and spending money. This place is very lovely though and is worth my investment. The atmosphere is soothing and inspiring. I've been waiting a long time to go to school for acting, modeling, and other entertainment related lessons. Deboraha, who accepted me into the school has given me a long-awaited opportunity. I can't wait to get started, and let my colors shine!

My Daughter Danielle attends Barbizon School of Modeling. She loves every minute of it and wishes she could attend everyday. All of the other students attending there are very nice, encouraging and supportive of each other. It is a wonderful atmosphere. Miss Deboraha is so professional and caring. She goes above and beyond for her students. She makes me and my Daughter feel like family as well as everyone else who attends there. I would encourage everyone to attend Barbizon to give themselves a foundation of values, family and educational means to better themselves. Barbizon truly is one of the best things that has happened to me. I started off walking into my first day at Barbizon with almost no self confidence and now I love myself and learned to express myself, Barbizon has taught me a wide range of things that I’ll be able to use in my life forever. My personal favorite part of Barbizon is strutting the runway, I’ve grown so much on the runway and even went to Atlantic City Fashion Week 3 times so far, and now I’m preparing myself for IMTA this summer and that would have never happened if it wasn’t for Barbizon and my incredible teachers. I was scouted at a county fair by a talent scout at The Barbizon School Of Modeling and Acting and I was so excited and felt so happy to be noticed. The school director, Miss Deb and I were in contact and I came in for an audition and I loved the atmosphere of the school and how organized and sweet Miss Deb was. Going to Barbizon School of Modeling and Acting in Wilkes-Barre PA was one of the best decisions I have ever made. This school has not only taught me modeling and acting but also many life lessons.
