Amazing location in the heart of downtown, my favorite part! Convenient parking across the street at the RC Movies 14 Garage and on the street. The food is amazing and unlike anything I’ve ever had in this area. Stepping inside makes you feel like you’re no longer in Wilkes-Barre. Real authentic Japanese high quality food. We love the Curry donburi & chicken tantan ramen, nori fries & matcha cheesecake. The service is also top-notch. We love coming here so much! Thank you Shinjuru for choosing Wilkes-Barre 💕

Had dinner here last night for Valentine’s Day. The drinks were so good and the food was amazing!! The best part was the customer service. So warm and outstanding! Can wait to come back!

The food is delicious and reasonable in price. The portions are generous and the service is fast and polite! The cozy atmosphere is really cute and so close to the square. I will definitely be coming back here!!!

Shoyu ramen - delicious and perfect on a colder winter day (think French onion soup base with this dish) The Japanese French fries - absolutely fantastic as well. Crispy crinkle fries topped with a "yumyum" spicy mayo and a dash of seasonings. Tokoyaki - octopus fried balls were also delectable, very soft inside, crispy outside with flavorful fish flakes all over. Service was great, friendly and very accommodating. This is our first time here but will not be our last!

The service was friendly and helpful. The ramen bowls were so good. We both ordered something with pork and it was amazing. Both of our broths were so amazing, although different. Unfortunately, we expected top quality ingredients for the great ratings and prices. The food upset my stomach after so that was not expected. Alas.
