The Frederick Stegmaier Mansion

We stayed in a gorgeous one bedroom suite at the Fred. The inn’s host, Heather, made us feel at home the second we walked in the door and anticipated all of our needs. The mansion has been beautifully restored. There is so much to see with the antiques and elaborate decor and finishes in each of the rooms. We enjoyed the extras such as the fresh chocolate chip cookies on our arrival and the afternoon tea. The breakfast was honestly the best “continental” style breakfast we have ever eaten. We have stayed at quite a few inns and B and Bs and the Fred is amazing. It’s a beautiful place and Heather is the heart that makes it a home.

We stayed in the Franklin suite. It was spotlessly clean with modern essentials. Walking into the mansion is like stepping back time. Restoration work is well done. From the intricate woodworking, hand painted ceilings and the stain glass. I loved the ladies parlor and the library. This living museum is a true credit to NEPA. A special shout out to Heather who saw to our every need. From tea time to wine down to breakfast. Our little getaway felt other worldly. If you're looking for a little respite no need to travel anywhere but here.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Frederick Mansion and words cannot express how incredible the experience was. Our hostess, Heather, was just AMAZING. She was attentive and her hospitality added a personal element to the stay that made it very special. The mansion was immaculate and opulent. It was like being given access to a living museum outside of visiting hours. We were so in love with the mansion and host that we have already decided to return for our anniversary in the next few months! Cannot recommend this place enough.

My husband and I stayed at the mansion on February 26 for our anniversary. We celebrated 43 years of marriage. The mansion is absolutely gorgeous! Heather spoiled us with a wonderful tour of the mansion and treated us to mocktails and chocolates and rose petals on our bed. We also enjoyed a fantastic meal at the Mary mansion . The food was superb and the staff also spoiled us with chocolate covered strawberries and mocktails.

From the moment I arrived and was greeted by the valet until I left I absolutely loved it ! The history of just feeling the energy, the ornateness ,and dining , and the architecture. The food was beyond delicious . The service and the staff extremely communicative and delightful . Briana literally hands down is superb. Unique and breathtaking being able to enjoy myself my friends and family and the environment . The pianist . top notch. If you have the time to make a reservation I highly suggest it . I cannot wait to try the brunch . Looking forward to spending an evening there again and looking into staying even a night . Definately 11 stars out of 10 ⭐️
