I definitelyAGREE with every comment talking about Barbizon is all about money! I attended Barbizon for a few years and my dad made sure I was at every class/ appointment to become a model. They only teach you how to walk, stand, sit, balance and how to put on a ridiculous amount of makeup. They charge so much money that's non refundable even if you don't go. Plus you have to pay for a portfolio through their company that's not guaranteed to get you anywhere. Barbizon is a CON and have many people scouting at schools where they found me, malls, events and so on. Preying over kids and anyone they can talk into joining and spending money. Now how many models do the WORLD know that became or came from BARBIZON for real? Let me know. Good luck to ALL that's intrigued to be discovered. 🙏 DO NOT

Don't waste your money guys! You can go to many castings for FREE. I was so young and dumb when I decided to join Barbizon. I paid a little over $1,000 for the " modeling classes". Trust me when I tell you that everything you need to know about modeling can be found on YouTube for free.

Hey, this is shauna and boy I wish I could give them no stars. Any body that wants to be a model, actor or the works, please heed my warning: find somewhere else to work. They ripped me off and tried to blame me. When it comes to barbizon competitions, you have to pay a lot of money to audition and join. Which, I thought, “ok, well you have to invest in yourself if you want others to invest in you.” The payment for the competition that I was planning to go was “$1,095”. I paid $500 up front and then set up dates to pay the next few payments. Then I realized that I won’t be able to pay on those days, so I called weeks earlier before the next payment was supposed to take out. They kept trying to take out money regardless, and then charged me an extra $60 because they couldn’t get money out.

I attended Barbizon at the age of Barbizon at the age of 16 and it completely changed my life! Before Barbizon I was shy, not very confident in myself, not well dressed or spoken, and lacked sense of direction and worth! After Barbizon I was confident, Well spoken and had increddible condidence and style! Not only that but I was out on modeling, acting, and Promotional jobs! Within the first 2 years I participated several competitions, Runway Shows, photoshoots for several companies as well as appear as the main character in a TV movie! Above all that I met some of my best friends who both support and drive me! To say Barbizon changed my life is an understatement!

Barbizon is a waste of money. You can look up how to model and save MUCH more money, barbizon is not worth $1000 (and yes the price range is around that much). Again if you wanted to learn how to model the best thing you could do is google it and learn even more then what you learn here at barbizon, honestly you barely even learn how to model. AGAIN it is a waste of money, time, and gas I DO NOT recommend it
