Chef’s Kiss dining experience. From the Ambience, to the Service, and my goodness, the FOOD!!! I went to dinner with friends, and I had the Ōra King Salmon dish(not listed on the menu)—cooked to perfection. My friends had the Porterhouse Prime and the Ribeye Steaks which were served on the Hot Rock. Everyone in my party was impressed with the cook of the meat, the depth of flavor, and the presentation. We also shared the Baked Alaska which was the perfect sweet treat to round off our meal. I would 100% recommend this place, and can’t wait to go back.

Hands down, the best dining experience in Boise! Barbacoa continues to set the bar. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance is electric and unlike anything else in the city. We had an absolute blast—the food was cooked to perfection and the drinks were creative and spot-on. What really took the night to the next level was our server, Tim. He was exceptional! Not only was he incredibly attentive and professional, but he brought a fun energy to the table that made us feel right at home. If you're looking for a 5-star night out, this is it.

We went to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary on a Sunday evening. We had reservation, so there was no waiting. Food was delicious and presentation was good. we ordered BBQ Duck Quesadilla, Seafood Mixto, Spinach salad with strawberries & soup, Pasta Primavera and BBQ Ribs. We got complimentary Cotton Candy with a small cake & candle inside it to celebrate our anniversary.

Last night was our first visit to Barbacoa. I made reservations for 6:30 a couple of weeks ago. From the moment we arrived every member of the team was warm, welcoming and ready to help. We ordered the tableside guacamole, it was delicious! Both my husband and I ordered hot rock filet and baked potato. The steaks were cooked perfectly, very tender and great flavor! Our server was very attentive and patient answering all our first timer questions. Would have loved to try some desserts but didn't have room. Now for my only disappointment and its small. When I made the reservation I advised we were celebrating our 35th anniversary. We were given a high top table at the end of the bar, possibly the highest traffic area in the entire restaurant. I was here in late October and it was setup for Halloween attire. First off, the atmosphere here is excellent. It's a bit dark in the main room with such unique and beautiful artwork. There are seats near the window / patio are for views overlooking the large pond outside. I was here with my lady and her sister for happy hour, which I highly recommend. We had the calamari, crab cakes, fries and of course drinks. They were all excellent! We did make a reservation as it is always busy here and you are likely to not get spot without a reservation or be waiting a very long time. The staff here was great, helpful, courteous, also a great add the the atmosphere. Great place for date night, having high-end great meals or hanging with friends.
