Bar Fes

We went to Barfes for the first time and initially felt a little unsure. The restaurant is located above a mezcal bar, and the drink menu comes from the bar downstairs while the food menu is Moroccan, which felt a bit unexpected at first. But we decided to go along with it and order anyway—and we’re so glad we did. We ordered quite a few dishes, and my favorites were the falafel salad (the falafel was baked, not fried!), the vegetable couscous, lamb tajine (super tender), and the mixed grill. Everything was delicious, flavorful, and very reasonably priced. The service was also excellent. The wine selection is pretty limited, but honestly the food more than makes up for it. I’ll definitely be coming back again!!
