Bandon Bait

Stopped by for some fish and chips before heading back to town, and was pleasantly surprised! I got the fresh fish and chips, and received a side of shrimp cocktail (with a kick 💖), delicious coleslaw, and even ketchup for my fries. Delicious clam chowder and fish tacos! Locals were coming in to get their food, so I knew I was in the right spot. When coming back into town, I WILL be stopping by again!

We stopped by Bandon on our way to California partially at the recommendation from a friend for this very place. We were not disappointed, but had our expectations exceeded. The place has the quaint charm of a bait shop where you expect to visit to resupply for the day's fishing ventures. This is exactly what it is, but it also serves some of the finest fried seafood you will find anywhere. Nearly every variety of fried seafood is made with a different batter and seasoning, and the fish and chips are superb. The staff are very friendly. There is also the nearby pier you can walk along while enjoying the view. Overall, highly recommend making this a place to stop and eat at if you are traveling through.

It was okay, nothing amazing. The fish coating seemed a little bland. The fish itself was fresh, firm and plentyfull so I shouldn't complain. The fries were very McDonald's-ish. Nice little shrimp cocktail included. The coleslaw was not bad, slightly sweet and fresh. Felt "heavy" after sharing this meal. Don't feel like I wasted my money but maybe I'm over fish and chips?😅

We stopped here for a lunch on a recent trip to Bandon. We had 5 adults and 3 kids so it was a great place to take a big group and still get quick service. The service was amazing and the guy taking orders was super helpful and accomodating with a big crew. We loved getting to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather. We tried a variety of things like the calamari, the fish and chips, fried oysters, and even chicken nuggets for 2 of the kids. The people with fish and chips said it was really good and they loved that it had very little breading so you really got to appreciate the fish. This is what fish and chips should taste like. Absolutely wonderful flavor and cooked right. Other items, the marinara had excellent flavors, italian ice was really good too. Thank you we will ALWAYS come here going forward when we are here for our crabbing vacations.
