Exactly what I had hoped for in a local legend in a tiny Alaskan town. Best fish and chips I have ever had. Fres halibut from the ocean and a recipe that was decades old. Very lucky to have found this little spot in the world

Beer, fish and chips, and service was exceptional! Best fish and chips we’ve even had and we live in the PNW! We were here for a few hours on a cruise ship stop and had heard about this place. Definitely stop by and give them service, worth it!

Great place to stop off the ferry and grab lunch before striking out into Canada! We were all over AK for 10 days and this was the best fish and chips we had anywhere. The art on the ceiling and bumper stickers on the walls are great gags, we loved looking over them. Folks behind the bar were kind and attentive. Thanks for being a part of our amazing honeymoon!

The food is good, not great, but good. It has gone downhill over the past few years. Staff was not friendly welcoming or attentive. As Canadians, we felt that the locals were kind of put off by the fact that we were "bothering" them. The whole town felt a bit bothered by the tourists. The furniture has seen way better days, it was not clean and overall, we were happy to eat and get out as quick as possible. Try alpenglow or deer heart, they are a much better experience.

The fish and chips are truly outstanding. Very busy on ship days so ran out of clam chowders quite early.
