Balade is a great choice. I went during restaurant week and got to try their three course menu, which was a perfect way to try a little of everything. The space has a dimly lit, cozy vibe. The staff was nice and attentive, and the food was delicious. Everything was cooked really well and seasoned with authentic spices that gave each dish great flavor. Overall, a solid experience from start to finish.

This is my second time at Balade and it has truly become one of my favorite places in New York Every visit just confirms it. The food is always so fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care you can really taste the quality in every single bite. From the creamy hummus and perfectly crispy falafel to the warm, delicious fatayer, everything feels authentic and thoughtfully prepared. Nothing feels heavy, and the flavors are always balanced and comforting. I also love the cozy atmosphere and how welcoming the staff is, which makes the whole experience even better. Balade is one of those spots you keep coming back to because you know it’s going to be good every time! Highly recommend if you’re craving amazing Middle Eastern food in NYC

Came here for restaurant week and tried a lot of the dishes on the menu but I liked the apps the best vs main dishes (especially the hummus). The portions were great and we all left feeling super full. The beef shawarma dish was dry so would not recommend but I really liked the chicken shawarma dish which came with garlic sauce (added so much flavor). Atmosphere was pretty and all the staff were kind and attentive; our waiter Rami was very nice and gave us good drinks suggestions: mezcalita drink (margarita) was very good. Overall very good experience.

oh my god, WOW!! the service was quick and the servers were hospitable. the ambience was subtle yet bustling with fellow restaurant goers enjoying their food under the dim lights. we went during restaurant week for a group of 3 so we split 3 separate appetizers and had our own entrees and dessert. the mezze was the star of the show. we ordered the Baba ghanoush alongside the Muhammara and a salad i forget the name of. all were incredible with the Muhammara being the most notable. the flavors danced on our tongues. this all paired with the bread they serve each table had our mouths watering. the bread they serve was oddly my favorite part of the meal. so fresh, warm, and airy it tasted like a fresh hot cloud. i ordered the beef kafta from the prix fix menu and it was juicy and flavorfu

The food serving size was really big and the seasoning was just right. The meet in the lamb dish was a bit dry but the sauce served with it helped balance. The ambience of the restaurant is great with the music being low to allow conversation.
